We are excited to announce the cast of Starship Troopers: Dina Meyer, Casper Van Dien, and Michael Ironside to Sign for SWAU at LA Comic Con!

Dina Meyer is an American actress who gained attention in the 1990s with roles in Beverly Hills, 90210 and films like Johnny Mnemonic and Dragonheart. She’s well known for playing Dizzy Flores in Starship Troopers and Barbara Gordon/Oracle in Birds of Prey. Meyer has also appeared in multiple Saw films and continues to work steadily in film and television, often in sci-fi and action genres.

Casper Van Dien is an American actor best known for his role as Johnny Rico in Starship Troopers. He began his career with television roles on Beverly Hills, 90210 and One Life to Live before moving into feature films. In addition to reprising Johnny Rico in later Starship Troopers projects, he has appeared in Sleepy Hollow, Tarzan and the Lost City, and numerous independent and genre films.

Michael Ironside is a Canadian actor recognized for his intense screen presence and frequent portrayals of tough or villainous characters. He first gained attention in the 1980s with roles in Scanners and Top Gun. He’s known to sci-fi fans for playing Lieutenant Jean Rasczak in Starship Troopers and roles in Total Recall, V: The Final Battle, and Highlander II: The Quickening. Ironside has also had an extensive voice acting career, notably as Darkseid in DC animated projects and Sam Fisher in the Splinter Cell video game series.
